    Episode Highlights

[04:07] A Reflection of the Inside

[04:07] Danielle: “The outside is a reflection of the inside. It’s a universal principle.” - Click Here To Tweet This

    • It's a universal rule that the outside reflects the inside.

    • You know or are finding out the many wrongs and injustices in the world. They reflect what you might feel within.

    • There are two sides. One is the moments of reality- full of enjoyment and love.

    • On the other side is your everyday life. This is the dream where you find you can pull more moments of reality and wake others up too.

    • Allow and accept whenever you feel heartbroken. When you know what you're pushing against, you can also manage it better.

    [08:26] Spiritual Bypassing

    • Spiritual bypassing is when you take something spiritual and apply it to something unspiritual.

    • When you choose to do this, you don't acknowledge how you were affected or hurt. You need to accept and see when you've been wounded.

    • A wise decision is when you consider how it may affect everybody. An unwise decision focuses only on yourself, your community, or your culture.

    • Danielle believes that everything happens for a reason and everything has a purpose here on Earth.

    • A nihilistic viewpoint can be selfish and narcissistic. You disconnect yourself from how you can affect the world and focus only on what works best for you.

[10:42] Danielle: “A wise decision looks at everything and says, ‘How is thing going to benefit everybody or harm anybody?’ An unwise decision, which often comes from a spiritual bypass is, ‘What’s going to work for me and my community, my family my culture?’ And it’s just more division.” - Click Here To Tweet This

    [15:00] Popping the Bubble

    • While each person goes through their own individualistic healing journey, your healing bubble can cause a divide.

    • Ask yourself, where is the best place for your ego to hide?

    • Your ego can insist that you’re righteous and more knowledgeable than others. When this happens, it can cause divisiveness and separate you from others.

[17:21] Danielle: “When you know so much more than everybody else, a whole lot of people are wrong and it's just divisive. It's so boring, it's so taxing, and it's so lonely.” - Click Here To Tweet This

    [20:50] Tuning Away From Negativity

    • It’s essential to tune in and be more conscious of your agitation.

    • Many people think they need to do something even when it agitates them. Often, this belief comes from the pressure of others.

    • Danielle started paying attention to how she felt around music. She went on a music diet and stopped listening to songs about negativity and misery.

    • Negativity is a parasite; most modern media spreads negativity.

    • Your psyche registers negativity as an intruder. Instead of choosing to be positive amidst the negatives, go on a negativity-free diet.

[25:30] Negativity in the World, Today

    • Pop culture glorifies the pain and misery reflected in the real world.

    • It isn’t ethical, moral, or loving to expose this negative media to young minds.

    • While it may portray the dark side of real life, it's unhealthy and can lead to more disconnection.

    [32:08] Showing Your Vulnerability

    • You can choose to show up however you want to. While this can lead to wanting to look perfect to everyone, it can also represent the celebration of your life.

    • Danielle has been going through radical simplification.

    • While others often share their pain, Danielle chooses not to share in real-time.

    • She wants to first get through it, process and learn from her experience. Danielle wants to avoid other people’s projection of how she feels and thinks.

    • It’s better to wait to share until you’re ready.

    [34:59] Making Your Own Mistake

    • Danielle doesn’t give advice anymore. She wants to avoid manipulating other people’s thoughts and seeing them backfire.

    • Instead, she shares her own experience. This way, it’s up to the other person to take away what they want to learn and do.

    • There is power and responsibility in giving advice. Your advice can have consequences when others follow them.

    • It’s better to allow others to make their own mistakes and learn from them.

[35:45] Danielle: “It's better if someone makes their own mistake because they build the muscle. Taking someone else's advice is like this crutch when you could really be learning how to run. And you learn how to run when you make your own errors.” - Click Here To Tweet This

    [40:09] Self-Initiation

    • Many shamans claim to be self-initiated even when they aren’t.

    • Though rare, self-initiation does happen.

    • One example is Guru Anandamayi Ma. She enacted her own spiritual initiation despite not being educated in it.

    [42:55] A Request From Danielle

    • You are naturally inclined to forgive.

    • However, there may be a small voice trying to talk you out of letting go of these wrongs.

    • Danielle invites you be forgiving. Don't let the world talk you out of forgiveness.

    [46:31] Danielle’s Radical Love

    • How to be loving is innate to everyone.

    • Danielle feels radically loved when she loves the parts of herself she pushes away.
