Episode Highlights

[02:15] The Desire to Get Things Right

  • The love and respect our society has for perfectionism stem from its obsession with getting things right.

  • Trying to get things right isn’t necessarily wrong, especially when it comes from a place of love, care, and respect.

  • Be careful with perfectionism. It can keep us stuck and paralyzed from doing anything.

[05:16] Sadvhi’s Transformational Journey to India

  • We often want to achieve perfectionism on an external level. Instead, our hearts and spirits need to be open to existing perfection.

  • Sadvhi’s journey from California to India didn’t just change her physically, but also metaphorically.

  • She needed to trust in the change and let go of her old way of thinking that everything needs to go her way.

  • Despite Sadvhi's privileges and opportunities, her childhood trauma stopped her from reaching happiness, peace, and freedom.

[15:03] How Sadvhi Changed

  • Sadvhi shares that not only was she unhappy, but she also used to be in a bad mental, psychological, and physical state.

  • At 25, she did her best to manage her life in all aspects.

  • This desire for control reflected her inability to trust her instincts.

  • Initially, she agreed to travel to India with her husband only because she knew it would be easier to accommodate her vegan diet there.

  • In the full episode, Sadvhi shares how she finally felt whole and perfect in India.

[23:46] Can We All Access the Divine?

  • Sadvhi believes that everyone has the ability to fully surrender and trust in the Divine.

[23:23] “In that trust, in that faith, and letting go into the universe — that's when I've actually experienced real perfection. Not as what I do, but as that which I am not separate from.” - Click Here to Tweet This

  • She views her traumas as gifts, proving that nothing can take away her ability to trust.

  • Violence to yourself, lying about your true self, and stealing what God has given you — these are the consequences of identifying ourselves with our past trauma.

  • Our birthright is peace, truth, and freedom.

[25:14] “I was gifted with that level of trauma. [It] made me realize and made others realize through me that there is nothing that can happen to you that precludes you or disqualifies you or handicaps you from being able to trust.” - Click Here to Tweet This

  • We cannot truly live if we keep living based on other people’s words, actions, egos, and anger.

[31:31] “And if my mind keeps telling me, ‘you will never be anything, you can never do anything, you are bad, you are wrong, you are stupid, you are unworthy’. It's violent, it's untrue. It is stealing from the gifts of my incarnation and it's stealing from the universe who could benefit from the gifts of my incarnation. This is true for all of us…Every one of us is born with the birthright of joy, peace, and freedom.” - Click Here to Tweet This

[33:11] How to Let Go of Trauma

  • Working on our minds requires continuity.

  • Our mind is a muscle. It works according to what you train it to do.

  • Create a new pathway of thinking.

  • Don’t negate negative thoughts.

[41:06] Two Practical Ways to Become Your True Self

  • First, create new “I am” statements. Remind yourself that you are whole, complete, and divine.

  • You have so much more potential than you realize. Serve the world and discover what those gifts are.

[43:22] “Serve. You've got so much to offer, whoever you are. Serve others. Realize how much you have to offer the world.” - Click Here to Tweet This

  • Second, create a meditative practice on what you’re not. This includes your sorries, physical body, emotions, and thoughts.

  • Sadvhi takes us through this process in the full episode. In a space of emptiness, you will be able to find your truest self.

[48:40] “There isn't one cell of my body today that was abused or abandoned. They've all regenerated. Every cell in the body regenerates over every seven, eight years. Just remove all of that which you are not and then in that beautiful space of emptiness, nothingness, [or] everythingness — in that beautiful state of recognizing what you are not, it creates that beautiful space for that which you really are to emerge.” - Click Here to Tweet This

[50:47] How Sadvhi Feels Radically Loved

  • Every minute is a miracle. Sadvhi feels loved and nourished in every minute and moment.

  • For her, tree-hugging is the easiest and fastest way to feel connected to the universe.

  • She acknowledges that every person has a unique love language.

  • People may not be attuned to love, but that is their karmic journey. Sadvhi’s practice is to feel love in every moment.
