The Group Programme

You already know what to do. Your body has not caught up.

Most people who find their way to this page have read the books. They can name the nervous system states. They know what a boundary is. They have tried the breathing.

And they still wake at 3am. They still say yes when they mean no. They still get to Friday wondering where the week went and who was driving.

Knowing is not the same as regulating. Insight arrives years before the body does, and no amount of further reading closes that gap. Doing it slowly, with other people, in a room where nobody has to explain themselves from scratch — that closes it.

That is what three months together is for.

Who this is for

People carrying more than they are letting on. Often in midlife, often women, though not only. The common thread is a nervous system that has been running hot for long enough that it now feels like a personality.

  • You are competent in public and depleted in private
  • Rest does not restore you the way it used to
  • You can trace the pattern back and still cannot interrupt it
  • You have done the reading, maybe the therapy, and want the part where it becomes a practice rather than a concept

Why Rosie

Rosie Acosta is a mindfulness teacher at Headspace and the author of You Are Radically Loved. She has taught for Nike, Airbnb and LinkedIn, is an executive producer on the perimenopause documentary BALANCE, and completes an MA in clinical psychology in December.

She also grew up in 1990s Los Angeles, found her way through meditation and self-inquiry rather than around it, and went through perimenopause at 35. She is not teaching this from the outside.

What you will actually do

This is coaching, not therapy. Rosie is a mindfulness and mental health coach, not a licensed therapist, and this programme is not treatment for a mental health condition.

If what you are carrying needs clinical support, that is not a failure and it is not a smaller thing — it is a different thing, and she will point you towards it rather than take you on.

Join the waitlist

Dates are being set now. The waitlist is how you hear first, and it is the only way in — there are thirty places and they will be offered to this list before anywhere else.

Two of the thirty places are scholarships. If money is the reason you are hesitating, say so on the form. You will not be asked to prove anything or explain yourself at length; a sentence is enough.

Joining costs nothing and commits you to nothing.

If you would rather just hear from her for a while first, her weekly letter is How to Midlife. One email a week, unsubscribe any time.
