Mindfulness Basics
What Is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is the practice of bringing awareness to the present moment with curiosity, openness and compassion. Rather than trying to eliminate difficult thoughts or emotions, it helps you develop a more aware and intentional relationship with your experience.
In practice that can mean meditation, breathing exercises, emotional resilience tools, or simple self-awareness techniques. None of it requires sitting cross-legged for an hour, and none of it asks you to empty your mind.
